Great for a coffee table! I love the combo of their stores (architecture), artwork that inspired and was inspired by the brand (art) and obviously the clothes, bags, etc. (fashion). It is amazing to see where the brand started and where it has gone while still maintaining their brand identity...gotta love a company that can do that. Overall absolutely beautiful and well written...the photos are ridiculous!

Review by TimeLimitXceeded for Cables To Go 40413 M/M Stereo Audio Cable (6 Feet, Black) Rating: I used this on my iphone and with other cables I would generally hear loud interference whenever my iphone went into edge mode ( I stream Pandora ) When my phone switches to Edge, I don't hear that annoying sound with this cable. I was actually surprised at the shielding of this.

Review by Amentahru Wahlrab for The Settlers of Catan Rating: The Settlers of Catan opened me and a number of my friends and family to a game that is easy to learn as monopoly or risk but ten times more enjoyable. I had not been willing to play anything but card games for years. This game incorporates strategy, chance, and negotiating skills (you must convince your opponents to trade resources with you even though it may mean that you will win the game). The initial game only allows 3-4 players so most people will want to purchase the expansion pack which allows up to 6. However, the 3-4 person games are usually shorter, allowing time for more than one game. When teaching new players the game may take several hours to finish, especially as the number of players grows. The game indicates that the age range is 10 and up. I think this is about right. We taught it to our 10 year old niece and she won the game. Our 8 year old nephew needed to be teamed up with an adult (he loves playing the game though). Once everyone gets the hang of the rules, a game can finish in an hour. Definitely a great addition to low key, small group social gatherings.

I just watched an amazing new film due to be released by TLA, "Dog Tags" which looks at a young marine who explores his same-sex feelings.
Nate Merritt (Paul Preiss) lives with his mother (his father had abandoned them) and his fiancée, Trish. Life is not easy for them financially so he joins the Marines in order to help support Trish and his mom, Debbie. When Nate goes on leave in Palm Springs, he meets Andy, a free-spirited and energetic young gay man who dreams of going to Hollywood for the glitz and the glamour.
Andy and Nate become good friends platonically but as time passes their relationship becomes physical and deeply intimate. What is so interesting is that the two are total opposites--Nate is introspective and pensive while Andy seems to be without a care in the world. The guys both find themselves in vulnerable positions regarding each other and as Nate looks more deeply into himself, he discovers and uncovers his missing father's identity. He also discovers who he, himself, is.
The film is directed by Damion Dietz who gave us "Beverly Kills". Dietz has created a moving look at a young man who faces difficult decisions as he is faced with family devotion and loyalty and having to find himself and his place in the world. The film touches the viewer on an emotional level, something that small films do not often do.
